On December 6th, Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, together with Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce and Hebei Federation of Industry and Commerce, jointly organized Inaugural Meeting and First Council Meeting of Beijing Tianjin Hebei Entrepreneur Union in Beijing. At the meeting, Beijing Tianjin Hebei Entrepreneur Union was officially established, with Qi Xiangdong, Chairman of QAX, elected as the first rotating chairman of the union. The union’s secretariat is based in Zhongguancun Federation of Social Organizations, and Dai Jian, Executive Vice-president and Secretary-General of Zhongguancun FSO, serves as the Secretary-General of the union.

Xu Lejiang, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Group of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended and addressed the meeting. Yang Jinbai, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, Ji Guoqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Xia Yanjun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Yan Ying, Vice Chairman of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the meeting and announced “Unity Project” of the union. Liu Bozheng, Executive Deputy Director of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Joint Office, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhao Yujin, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Group of Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, presided over the meeting.

The meeting adopted the regulations and rules of procedure of Beijing Tianjin Hebei Entrepreneur Union, and elected the members of the first presidium. Xie Wei, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of Zhongguancun FSO, on behalf of Dai Jian, introduced the 2024 work plan of the union. She expressed the determination to build the union into a representative, high-profile, and influential platform for entrepreneurs, providing them more opportunities and resources.

During the meeting, the launching ceremony of Beijing Tianjin Hebei Entrepreneur Union was held, with announcement of the initiative to support the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Beijing Tianjin Hebei Entrepreneur Union, Yangtze River Delta Entrepreneur Union, and Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Union jointly signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement. The representative of Beijing Tongzhou District made an investment promotion.

Before the meeting, the union organized member companies to visit the planning exhibition hall of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center and the Innovation Center of Zhangjiawan Design Town. A total of more than 240 members of Beijing Tianjin Hebei Entrepreneur Union joined the visit.
