The international project outcomes are interconnecting dynamically, and the Zhongguancun Forum’s series of technology trading events are sparking a fervor for cross-border exchange and cooperation

On the afternoon of October 25th, in the International Entrepreneurship and Investment Cluster of Chaoyang District, the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum’s series of technology trading activities took place, with a focus on international technology transfer matching (specifically within the fields of artificial intelligence and information communication). 


During this event, 20 top-notch technological achievements were showcased, representing innovative enterprise teams from 11 countries, including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Finland, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and others. A total of seven live presentations were held. The primary objective of the events was to utilize the Zhongguancun Forum platform to explore additional opportunities for technological collaboration and commercialization in Beijing, driving the implementation of these remarkable innovations.

In the address, Hou Yun, the First-level Inspector of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and Adminisrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, expressed Beijing’s unwavering commitment to global scientific and technological innovation collaboration. He extended a warm welcome to entrepreneurs from across the globe, inviting them to contribute to Beijing’s development. The city is dedicated to fostering a more open, cooperative, and mutually beneficial environment for international collaborative innovation, further attracting high-quality projects, talent, capital, services, and various innovation components from all over the world. This initiative aims to promote the conversion of technological innovation achievements in Beijing and support the establishment of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center.

 

During the event, Finland’s Solved Clean Technologies, Beijing Gaochuang Tiancheng International Enterprise Incubator Co., Ltd., and Beijing International Technology Trading Alliance solidified their cooperation by signing the strategic partnership agreement.

Throughout the event, international business representatives were split into groups and visited key locations, including Chaoyang District, E-Town Economic-Technological Development Area, Shunyi District, and other industrial parks and companies. These visits allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of Beijing’s international atmosphere for science and technology innovation and its business-friendly environment.


In Chaoyang District, the delegation, organized by Beijing (Wangjing) Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Park, visited the Wangjing Science and Technology Park’s pre-incubation section, which was known as the Wangjing Technology·Yilan Space. They experienced cutting-edge technologies, such as 3D holographic fan screen, the exclusive virtual digital human combination, and new media laboratories. Additionally, they explored the exhibition hall, learning about the digital economy industry’s layout in the International Entrepreneurship and Investment Agglomeration Area.


During their visit to E-Town, the delegation toured JD.com Group, the Economic Development Area Talent Apartment, and engaged in in-depth discussions with the representatives of E-Town Talent Group's Entrepreneurship Center, the New Generation Information Technology Industry Class of the Economic Development Area, JD Technology Group, and other various funding entities. The discussions revolved around exploring diverse cooperation models for projects involving local agency, innovative industry establishment, joint technology research and development, and investment attraction through venture capital institutions.

 

In Shunyi District, representatives from companies like Solved Clean Technologies from Finland visited HiCool Park in Houshayu Town and the International Youth Innovation Talent Agglomeration Area. During these visits, they held discussions with local institutions and enterprises to clarify collaboration needs and intentions.
